Rene was born to the city, and it is Mary’s adopted home after she left South Dakota. René spent his professional life rebuilding Rotterdam in collaboration with the local architects. Mary Sue is a storyteller. Our penthouse B&B with garden view –for 1 or 2 guests–celebrates that Rotterdam, does, in fact, have its ❤ back in a huge way after the destruction of the center in 1940. Now Rotterdam has been totally rebuilt and revitalized! Our extremely comfortable B & B is right in the ❤ of one Europe’s most vibrant neighborhoods, just a block from world class shopping (the Lijnbaan, Koopgoot, and Coolsingel), a 5 minute walk to the Erasmus Medical Center, in view of the best cultural street in the Low Countries (the Witte de Withstraat), near the renowned Doelen Concert Hall and a short stroll from  the world’s second largest harbor. We are just a 10 minute easy walk from Central Station (or a 5 minute taxi ride), and are located a short stone’s throw from 4 wonderful museums, including the Kunsthal, the Architectural Institute and Boijmans Museum! We offer you top floor views, wifi, your own private bathroom with tub and separate shower, and coffee and tea in your room. You also have your own sunny balcony over looking an 85 year old sycamore tree, and our friendly service.

We have now added the new Tulip Room Studio/Apartment with kitchenette, and the new City View Room.

Come and stay with us – you won’t want to leave!
